You might consider an alternative address book such as Handy Address Book,
from:
http://www.beiley.com/habook/index.html
I have used it for five years. It installs easily, dials out to make phone
calls via a standard modem and prints out the list in whole or by category,
prints labels singly or for categories making it ideal for mailing lists and
generally works in a cooperative way. It is updated constructively from time
to time without getting spoilt by bloat and is reasonably priced. It has a
number of import options though I have not used them.
