Previously I was using WLM2008, everything is fine.
Then I've just installed WLM2009, but all my contacts is GONE !
I have also tried delete :
%userprofile%\Contacts\Your Messenger email address
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live
Contacts\Your Messenger email address

BUT WLM2009 STILL CAN'T RELOAD MY CONTACTS !

Now I am using Mobile MSN and older version of MSN & WLM, all my contacts
still there, just WLM2009 can't load my contacts !
What the hell !?

Greetings Henry,

Can you see if the Allow or Blocked list has loaded? You can check these by opening any
Messenger window, pressing the Alt key on the keyboard, choosing the Tools menu, then Options
and then the Privacy category on the side.

You are not alone. Just do a search for contacts. Look at
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...xp=&sloc=en-us
and
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...xp=&sloc=en-us.
Wish someone would look into the problem and fix it for good. Here is a post
I put up but of course no response

Sorry you're running into this problem. There's a log file created
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Messenger\Contactslog.txt

Can you please send this log to ?

Most of the errors we have seen that caused this are Out of Memory Errors
and for some people doing a disk clean-up has solved the problem. I am
interested to see what the error is on your local machine.
Thanks.

Did you mean me Nick H [MSFT]?. I did look at the file and maybe you can make
something of these messages and tell us what they mean and what can we do.

CAbchServiceAdapter::RunCorruptionDetection@xx: clearing MEMBERSHIP
timestamps due to corruption in the filesystem!!!

CAbchServiceAdapter::RunCorruptionDetection@xx: clearing AB timestamps due
to corruption in the filesystem!!!

Aborting seeding operation. Either we already seeded, or we haven't fully
initialized yet. (flags = 0x3 | annotation = 1)

Replication CAbchServiceAdapter::OnSyncPassComplete@xx: Initial Sync
Completed with (0x 0)

Was not sure what the numbers were after @ so I used xx instead.
