Greetings Reiner,
Beginning with Windows Live Messenger, there are a variety of different types of contacts in
your contact list.
Including the normal Messenger contacts, Hotmail contacts ("non-instant messaging") and
mobile contacts.
The ones without addresses are the Hotmail contacts. However, you can quickly remove these.
Just open up the contact list, press Alt-C on the keyboard to bring up the Contacts menu,
choose Filter contacts and then choose Messenger contacts only.
