I changed my Passport login from my old one (e-mail address which doesn't
work anymore) to a new one. Without problem.
But when i log in now all my contacts apppear offline and none of my contact
seem to see me as online.

During the transfer progress I was told that contacts should be transferred
and no one would really notice my change on login e-mail...

Can anyone give me a hint of what I shall do?

(I use Live Messenger Beta).

Greetings,

How long have you waiting? Sometimes it can take up to 48 hours before your contacts are
fully transferred.

Thanks for your answer Jonathan,

I changed the address for about 55 hours ago - and still no success...

But you mean that it will work automatically and that I just have to have
som patience?

I am having this issue too, I guess I am just supposed to wait 2+ days
(redicoulous... as if it was a manual process completed by trained
monkies)...... The contacts rebuilder does not work as was suggested in
another post.

This feature doesn't work and to the best of my knowledge it has never
worked. I've changed ID's and waited weeks. The net result is you have a new
ID, and your contact list is intact, but in order for you to be able to once
again see their online presence, you have to re-add them anyhow so that they
get another authorization request. Oh, and the only way I can figure out how
to do that is by first having to delete them.

Have you tried Editing Contact and sending a personal invitation message to
each.
