Continual installs of Security Update KB832483

My MS auto update continually install the above KB. So far 8 times today.
And each time it says it has been installed sucessfully. Yet in another 3-4
mins I see MS update prompting me to run the update to install the same
KB832483 again. Very irritating as would like to keep MS update swithced on.
Can anyone help?

What version of Windows and which Service Pack level?

Version of windows currently used is W2K Pro SP4.
