Continually running update KB890830

My PC is continually looking to install KB890830, i have left it for in
excess of 16hrs three times and it still has not sucessfully installed the
first update. Two other updates are KB938464 and KB954154. I have to turn my
pc off manually, when i run IE it will not connect to the network and my
system restore will not work!!!! Can anyone help please?

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2

conjuction with some other utilities). HijackThis will NOT fix anything on
its own, but it will help you to both identify and remove any
