Control c stopped working

Hi,
I am suddenly having a problem using shortcut keys control c and p in all
applications (Word, outlook, itunes ...). I don't remember doing anything to
cause this. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Have you tried rebooting? Tried a different keyboard?
