Control Panel/Hotfix references

Hello - help please - have had many problems since last
October's Microsoft 'On-line-crash' , including Registry,
System Restore, ISP dial-up, and am trying to reduce
overall amount of content on computer. Control Panel
holds many Windows Hotfix reference numbers (all are
duplicated following regular Automatic Updates.
Can these reference numbers be deleted in safety, please?

Ire you referring to the entries in Add?Remove Programs?
