Controlled Sync with Exchange server and .pst?

My company has just switched to an Exchange server for email and calendar
support. Now my PPC will sync only to the exchange server.

Is there a way to sync Calendar info with Exchange and Contacts, Notes,
Tasks with a pst file on my computer? I don't want all my personal info on
the company exchange server.

Active Sync doesn't support this. Intellisync claims support, but my old
Jornada PPC doesn't support the newer version of Intellisync that offers
this capability. I am considering a new PPC but would like to know if it
will resolve my syncing issues.

Thanks for any help!

You may want to wait for Windows Mobile 5.0 which should be in store soon.

Hi,
There is no support to sync via Exchange to a local PST. By your company's
decision to only support Exchange, they have effectively chosen to require
all data to be stored in Exchange.

Be careful. Any data entered on the device will be synchronized to Exchange
as well.

If your delivery setting in Outlook is your .pst then you can sync via the
desktop to your pst. Let me know if you need help setting that up, it is a
little different in each version of Outlook.

Are you syncing Calendar directly to the Exhange server? If so, this
configuration should work for you.
