Converting xls to pxl files

I upgraded to Vista and have been able to get my Axim X50 (running windows
mobile 2003) to sync properly with my system.

However, I cannot transfer and convert excel files to the device. This
feature worked fine on XP, but Windows Explorer no longer makes the
conversion.

How do I do this in Vista?

Bob,

On your pocket PC, save your files as a Word or Excel 97/2000 document (i.e.
"save as") and you do not need to convert anymore. It took me a couple of
hours but this appeared to be the solution for me.
