Cooker?

I've just installed a new HD, reinstalled Windows XP Home, Upgraded to
SP! and then to SP2. Immediately following the upgrade to SP2 I got a
NO PAGING FILE error. I also see this in the Event Viewer:
HiPerfCooker_v1. ??? WTH is a Cooker?
