Cookie management on IE8

Hello all,
I need a little guidance in regard to clearing my Temporary Internet Files,
I'd like to selectively save some cookies when clearing out my TIF folder,
because it seems to me that every time I clear the folder I lose all my
automatic log-in info for many of the sites I visit....is there a way to
permanently save some cookies while deleting the rest of the folder? And,
while I'm asking, is there a way to recognize which cookies I would want to
save?
For an example, I log on as a member to http://www.stripersonline.com's
message boards, but after an hour of browsing around the site, I have
literally hundreds of files referencing that address, which would I need to
save to retain my login info?
Is this even possible?
TIA,
Ed White

CCleaner:
http://www.ccleaner.com/

Among other things, this freeware tool will delete your cookies, except
the ones you want to save.

IE8 has the option to not delete cookies for sites that are in your
Favorites list, so add these sites to your Favorites and then you should be
able to use the IE8 cookie deletion.

I can't seem to find this setting that allows you to bypass cookies that are
stored for sites in your favorites. Are you talking about blocking cookies
for all sites in the privacy tab, then explicting allowing sites through the
whitelist?

Nevermind! There's an option to preserve favorites data at the top of the
dialog when you click 'Delete' under Browsing History. Very cool!
