I could find the enable/disable cookies in XP but I am at a loss to find in
Vista. I was recently rejected by a website which claims that my Cookies are
not turned on any more. TIA

This does not tell me if cookies are enabled or disabled. In XP, wasn't I
able to check it off/on in the Advanced list?

set the slider to the top and you accept all cookies (on fully), all the way
to the bottom and you accept no cookies (off) in between you have degrees
of privacy

No. It was not in Advanced in either IE6 or IE7. It's on the Privacy tab.
Read what's there. Try changing the level from Medium and read what it
says. Try the Advanced button.

You may be getting the claim that your "cookies aren't on" from a site if
your computer's Date and Time are not set correctly.

Thank you for your responses. I slid the Privacy tab from Medium High to
Medium and the website (the only that rejected me) let me in again. Then I
closed it and put the Privacy back to Medium High and the website still
opened. Who knows?! Anyway, now I know where to check if it happens again.
