Copy Files Dialog Too Small

Hi,

when copying files using Windows Explorer I can't possible read any useful
information from the Copy File dialog. It's much too small for any file name
found on my hard drive.

All I can read is the root directory, an eclipse and some part of the last
child directory. But no file name at all! Even when I switch to "Detailed"
view I still can't read anything useful - except for the time it takes for
the copy process to take place perhaps...

Is it possible to resize the Copy/Move File dialog or to activate some
tooltips to actually be able to read some useful information from that dialog?

TIA,
Axel Dahmen

No, but you can use a Command Prompt, and a command that would output the
process as it happens, even to a file if you like.

Robocopy:
http://technet2.microsoft.com/window....mspx?mfr=true

There is a GUI for it available.
Utility Spotlight Robocopy GUI:

Thanks, Mark, for trying to help.

But actually copying my web projects from A to B would be very tedious using
the Command Prompt or anything similar. It would be a galore of copying and
pasting path names.

My personal opinion is that Vista should do the job, not some third-party
component. That what it's been paid for...

Perhaps someone from MS reads this and adds a corresponding functionality to
Vista with the next service pack.
