Copying problem

In each of 8 lessons in a teaching manual I normally use a batch file to
copy the files pertinent to the lesson from a course CD to a folder on the
C: drive. Lately I am running across a problem where a few docx and picture
files amongst others are not coming across. Nor are they always the same
ones that miss out. I cannot find the reason why this is so. Changing the
copy command to robocopy does not help either. I am running Vista Home
Premium; could the behaviour be a consequence of havng updated to SP1?
I would be grateful for an explanation and more about a solution.

Gus

I have found the answer. In developing the lessons I was using a
multi-session CD to which I re-copied a batch file whenever I made a change
to it, thus overwriting the existing file. When I burned a fresh CD with the
required files all went well.
A lesson learned.

Thanks for letting us know - a useful lesson for others, too.
