With Vista, the main barebones core of the OS is 1.5 gigs and needs hundreds
of external files...
in other words Vista is the king of bloat...

Seeing that they have overdone it.. finally someone grew a brain in
Microsoft and thought that they would do the unthinkable for a microsoft
product.. TRIM IT DOWN!

The core of the new windows, called windows 7 will be very small, around
100mb and will have less dependent files...

When I try to explain to people why vista is so slow and badly designed they
dont want to hear or understand....

Perhaps when Windows 7 comes out and will be faster and leaner than Vista,
then they will understand what the heck I was talking about.

more features does NOT mean more bloat..

smaller does not mean less... it means better design.

Vista was the worst designed windows version, if you take into account the
time frame of which it was built, the technology and available know how and
skills, it was about 1000 times worse than windows95 and 100 times worse
than windowsMe.
