While trying out hardware cards for video/audio/graphics work, some
applications and drivers were installed on my computer but were later
found to be unusable under Vista. Some got removed by simply
right-clicking on the item in the Programmes List provided by the
Control Panel and asking Vista to remove the unwanted application.
But in some cases, Vista tries to start the uninstall process and
responds with the following scrolling message:
"InstallShield Setup Launcher has stopped working".
The uninstall process fails and the application stays put.
What is the correct way to remove the unwanted applications from Vista
when Vista responds with the above message? The application HAS TO BE
REMOVED because the correct Version of the same software which works
under Vista has been found but cannot be installed until the earlier
installed version is removed.

Conforming to Vista's program removal standards is the responsibility of the
application software vendor. Do they give you a clue?
