I suppose you could try to do a "sfc /scannow" (no quotes) command to
see if it will repair it for you. This tutorial will show you how. You
could also try a System Restore or Repair Install. See the related
links in the same link below.

If it is just the user account, then creating a new one and deleting
the old one may be the easiest way to go.
