Not sure what you are going for.
The Windows XP CD is bootable and contains tools you will/might need to
install/repair a Windows XP installation. You can integrate the Service
Packs and most Post-SP2 updates into the Windows XP installation media so
that you have everything installed from the 'start'. You can also download
all the patches/updates/newer applicationsd manually and save them to CD/DVD
seperately...
I have found the Windows Updates Downloader to work well. I also know how
to get the updates manually. The sites below could help you do so much with
a Windows XP CD/customize it/make a repair (bootable) CD/DVD/etc...
