I have formatted my partition once again because after I install Vista Ultimate
I am booted out of windows. It works for roughly two hrs. I start to notice
that I can't navigate, like control panel will not open, windows media center
will not open etc. I then look at my tray and there I find a message
LoginUt.exe failed, but I can continue to excess internet explorer and use
the internet without
issue, shortly after that I am booted out of windows and box is displayed:
interactive logon process initialization has failed . Please consult the
event log
for more detail.

Well I can't do that because I can't get Windows Vista Ultimate to boot up.
Safe mode, last known good configuration and normal windows startup will not
work. They begin but eventually just continue to reboot. I insert the Vista
ultimate
upgrade cd to try a windows repair but it failed indicating that there was a
corrupt
file that it could not repair. Unfortunately I was not able to grab or view
which
file is corrupt because the computer restarted again.
Any help on this matter would be highly appreciated?

I had similar issues on a PC where I installed Vista Ultimate. Actually I
went through the format and reinstall process three times before I decided
to test my memory thoroughly with tools like Prime95. Turned out that the
memory I had purchased had issues with 4 1 gig modules installed. Not that
it matters to you, but with two modules installed, as was well.
I suggest you reinstall Vista, then immediately run memory diagnostics like
Prime95 and Orthos for at least two complete test passes. If you encounter
*any* errors, replace your memory.
You might also consider downloading your hard drive manufacturer's
diagnostic tools to check the health of your hard drive.
