Motherboard: Asus M2N-E (chipset nForce 570 Ultra)
Disk setup: RAID 0 using two Seagate 250G SATA drives
RAM: 2G Kingston DDR2-667, 2G A-data DDR2-800

I tried the beta nForce driver 15.08, installation program blue-screened
right after it was loaded.
Official driver 15.01, crashed during the last phrase of installation.
Asus' driver, crashed during the last phrase of installation.
Vi$ta x64's own driver, crashed during the last phrase of installation.

I also heard that Vi$ta x64 would not install on a RAID setup for my
motherboard.

Oh... I installed it, after removing the 2 pieces of Kingston DDR2-667,
leaving only 2G of A-data DDR2-800 RAM... Why?

Assume that I needed the two updates.

How could I install the 2 updates *DURING* installation?

BTW, storport.sys??? Nvidia motherboards use it?

It works. But could I use the update DURING installation, so that I
don't need to unplug and plug the 2G RAMs?

The workaround method is clearly stated in the article. No, you can't add it
during the install.

You could research slipstreaming the hotfix and burning a fresh install DVD,
but it would be easier just to remove the RAM as advised.

Could I say that this problem is a Micro$oft issue, affecting all
motherboards with more than 3G RAM?

It's a Microsoft problem - that's why they issued the hotfix.

It doesn't affect all motherboards with more than 3GB, just those that meet
the criteria specified. But there is no way of knowing if yours is affected
until you try it.
