Could not start the Automatic Updates service on Local Computer

I tried to enable Automatic Updates Service, but I always got error,
"Could not start the Automatic Updates service on Local Computer. Error
1083: the executable program that this service is configured to run in
does not implement the service."
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you for replying. But that thread is for window2k, and my system
is xp. One solution of cleaning up a damage COM+ seems can only be
applied to W2k. http://support.microsoft.com/?id=315296

My problem is fixed by doing:

regsver32 wuaueng,dll
may fix the problem that "cannot start Automatic Updates Service"

regsver32 qmgr.dll
regsvr32 qmgrprxy.dll
may fix the problem that "cannot start Background Intelligent Transfer
Service"

But my computer starting up become very slow. Because of services
loading? or conflicting with other services?
