I very much agree with you John. At times its like a lot of very spoilt
kids in here. I'm sure the bulk of us just find things very annoying and
timewasting. Perhaps the 'brats' could have the decency to think about
other people's needs sometime.

Respect is earned.

You see anything in the wild rantings of this newsgroup's troll, and
all around pest the idiot Frank who's responsible for 90% of the noise
even approaching something anybody would respect?

You think condescending MVP's deserve respect?

You think fanboys who are nothing but unpaid Microsoft apologists and
excuse makers deserve respect?

Well do you?

This newsgroup is how it is because NO RESPECT is given to people with
real issues with Vista. Until that happens, the noise level will
remain near deafening.

I have never utilized my "kill" filter in these groups because it really
wasn't to hard to filter out the crap, but I started adding the "usual
abusers" to my filter a couple weeks ago and the group is almost readable
again. You have re-add them occasionally, as they know we do it and so
change up their names and email enough that they keep popping up. but it's
well worth the extra trouble to get the group back.

No, a modicum respect is due to all people. In failing to respect
others, you are failing to respect yourself.

So when will you start respecting me and my right to express my views?

Perhaps you can take some personal responsibility for avoiding what you
don't like, instead of expecting other people to change because of your
wants and desires.

And what happens when someone proves that they don't even deserve a
modicum of respect?

Do you live a lie and show them that modicum of respect anyway?

Sorry Dude, but some people don't deserve even quarks-worth of respect,
like Frank, and anyone that plays with him.
