My Dell XPS laptop was put into hibernation but when I opened it I found
that it was displaying the blue screen and with all fans running. This is
not good when it is kept in a bag! The default settings for closing the lid
is Sleep.
If it happens again I will look for any error codes. I would be interested
to know if anyone else had a similar experience?
Do other brands of laptop have any form of power management or auto shut
down in the case of overheating built into the BIOS?
