Hello,
When I download my photos onto the PC I like to put them in dated folder.
E.g. for today, 31-July-2007 I name the folder in the format
YY-MM-DD so that I can order the folders by date.
07-07-31
I would like to be able to right click and create a folder named as above,
can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks a lot!

(Was posted in xp group but I need to be able to do this in Vista as well,
and Vista seems different)

Hello Eliot,

Navigate to where you want the folder then right-click and select New >
Folder. Rename it 07-07-31.

In Vista, there is already a Pictures folder under your username, ie
C:\Users\yourname\Pictures. You can create new folders there for your
photos.

OK there is that way, but it is slow and and an operation I need to do a
lot, which means an error may slip in.

I would like to be able to right click and then in addition to the "new ->
folder" option I have "new -> "dated folder". This involves customising
windows somehow and I am not sure where to start to look.
