I went to Windows Live Help Center and clicked on how to I create a
signature in Windows Live Mail. I use Windows Live Mail 2011 Build
15.4.3538.0513. Here is part of their answer below: I tried it and it
doesn't work. Any ideas?

Mail Help Center

To create an HTML or rich text signature
In Windows Live Mail on the Home tab, click Email message.

In the body of the message, add the text you want to use as your signature.

Change how the text looks (size, color, font type, etc.) using the Font area
of the Message tab.

Insert a single photo or other image using the Photo area of the Insert tab.
Smaller images work best.

Click File, and then click Save as file.

Browse to where you want to save the file, and then enter a file name.

Change the Save as type field to HTML Files (*.htm, *.html).

Click Save.

22KB is a big HTML file, so you may have a load of extraneous guff in it. Open it with Notepad and clean it up. This is what a sig with logo might look like:

<DIV style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Monotype Corsiva', Georgia, serif; COLOR: #0000ff; FONT-SIZE: 14pt">
<DIV><EM>Algernon Ponsonby-Pruneswick<BR>
Acme Insurance Co Ltd<BR>
Tel: 01234 567890<BR>
Fax: 01234 678901<BR>
Email: <A href="private.php?do=newpm&u="></A><BR>
<A href="http://www.aeroelectronicsinc.com">www.acme.co.uk</A></EM></DIV>
<DIV><A href="http://www.acme.co.uk"><IMG style="MARGIN: 10px 20px 10px 0px; DISPLAY: inline; FLOAT: left; WIDTH: 76px; HEIGHT: 76px" align=left
src="C:\Users\APP\Pictures\Acme.png"></A></DIV></DIV>

Note that the image source (src=) has to be the full path to the image file on your computer (in W7, Shift-right-click on the image file in Explorer and select Copy as path, then paste after src=). To resize the picture, put height and width into the <IMG STYLE="... tag. If you want to use a funny font, give alternatives for those recipients who don't have yours on their computer.

I have the picture showing up in the sig, but the thing is, the picture is
in 'edit mode', it has the boxes around it. Any way to get rid of that?

thanks,
Julien
