Create user group in vista basic without the user and group manager window

Hi

In order to achieve a sql server 2008 tutorial (and more later), I hav
to create a new user group

I'm on vista basic, so I don't have access to the usual user and grou
manager window

I heard there is a way of doing so by the registry..

How can I found this information.

Or if there is another way, what is it

I know this is an issue for a lot of people
