When creating new user accounts, does each account need to have its own
security software?, ie. anti-virus, anti-this and that? or does the security
from the Admin account take care of all other accounts as well?.

As far as I am aware whatever anti-virus and security you have on the
computer will be available to the other users. Most software like Norton
will have personalized settings for each user so it does not take all the
settings from the main account.

I hope this helps if not contact me for more help / info

Hi,
thanks for the reply, another related question:
if somebody using an ordinary user account has been surfing the web,
downloading music, pictures, video clips, etc. should that particular account
be scanned for virus' etc. or will scanning the main Admin account be enough?
Thanks

Hi ClooLess,

The antivirus program will scan the entire computer including all user
accounts no matter what user account it is ran in.
