I have just upgraded from XP to Windows Vista 32 and have been unable to
create a short cut from my favorites to my desktop. It keeps telling me that
my disk might be full. Can anyone help?

A little more info please. Are you talking about favorites menu in your
browser?

Hi
I just tried Right-click> Send To> Desktop (Create Shortcut) like you said
and no shortcut is created on the desktop? Why might this be?

Hi Jack--

I don't use Favorites because after you get a good number it takes awhile to
load. I just organize my folders or if I want something easily retrievable
I email it and put it in a Win Mail or Outlook folder. But can't you just
drag the particular favorite to the desktop holding down the left mouse or
if it's a web page you want to save as a favorite, just drag the shortcut
fromm the address bar holding down left mouse to desktop and park it in a
folder or open favorites and drag in there? In XP IE6 you'd go to the top
of the name bar of the web page, but in IE7 for XP or Vista, you drag from
the left corner of the address bar.

Also you may want to try

Faves to go

Good luck,
