Hello Ogster

This tutorial may be able to help you. It will show you how to create
"Show Desktop" shortcut that you can place in Quick Launch or wher
ever.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

; How-To Geek Registry Hacks
; Add the IE Icon to the Desktop in Windows Vista

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\NewStartPanel]
"{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30309D}"=dword:00000000

You can save above as REG file then execute or just add directly to the
registry.
