Creative WDM Update - Undo

I just applied a hardware update from Creative for a WDM file, and it's
messed up my audio. How do I undo it?

The 'Update History" file says:

"Creative - Sound - Creative Audigy Audio Processor (WDM)
Creative Sound sofware update released in August, 2006 "

Is there a way to revert to the previous setting?

Hi there,

Try rolling back on the audio device in hardware manager, or boot with F8
choosing: last known good configuration.
Also system restore in safe mode might be a solution if you go back to a
date prior to the occuring problem
