creative webcam not functioning correctly with msn messenger 6

Hello,
I have windows XP and have recently bought a creative
webcam. In the messenger Audio/video tuning wizard , it
shows me that my webcam is functioning ok, however my
friends tell me that they cannot see me, (but I see their
webcam images) and when I go to check in my" web camera
settings", the screen is blank ie no image. Does anyone
know how to resolve this as it is driving me mad. Thanks

>I seem to have resolved the problem, by installing an
updated driver from the creative.com web site, and then
also downloading messenger version 5. When I went to try
msn messenger 6 as a last ditch attempt. It worked!
I don't if it was the fact of installing a new driver or
whether the installation of messenger 5 somehow
influenced messenger 6 when I opened it up, but it worked
