Critical update for .NET Framework 1.1 SP1

Sorry if I missed earlier posts regarding this. Still trying to recover
from the IDE Driver update disaster.
Downloaded the "critical" update above and was presented with BSOD
AGAIN!!
I downloaded it because it was a critical update rather than an optional
one like IDE.
Fortunately, I was able to restart this time without problems.
Ran MS Update again and was re-offered it. This time I looked at it.
It states "Download size 0kb, 0 minutes.
What the hell is going on.
