Critical Update for Sony

JFYI.. there is an update for those using sony computers and have Sonic Stage
or related software that was affected by a recent critical update from
Microsoft

I am posting this because it was not easy to find
hope it helps

I saw this too (I've got a Sony Vaio Desktop). Question for you: Did you
install this update first and then the security bulletin, or the security
bulletin first? It's not clear on the Sony site or the Microsoft site what
the correct order is.

I installed the security bulletin update first ( a couple of weeks ago) and
then the the more recent update to correct the problem ( 2 days ago). It
worked for me and I gather from the information that it is the right thing to
do. We have to have the security update first otherwise security is
compromised.
Anyway, my sonic stage works fine now.

worked great!
