I keep getting a critical update for the >.Net Framework 3.5 SP1 and Family
Upgrade ( KB95184x86) It's shown up the last 3 times updates was run. The
first time it downloaded but failed to install. That was on Fri. the 24th. I
checked recent updates and it was listed. I checked add/remove prog. and got
>net Framework setup. It came up in maintennce mode and said it was repairing
to original state. It sent an error report. Plus it it appears it was
installed on the 8th of Apr. Same numbers. Below was the hotfix for that
update which says can't be removed. I checked and there were the >net
Framework 1.1 and a hot fix for that. Neither say installed or have a date
and size. The >net Framework for 2.0 SP2 installed on 4/8 also can be
removed. I don't understand if they were installed they wouldn't be able to
be removed could they.? And why do I keep getting the crit. update for the
3.5 when it was installed earlier? And again yesterday. I have Windows XP
with the SP3. Lately it's been acting so slow, after I added IE8. But these
updates I don't understand at all. These things make no sense to me, and my
son is overseas right now. So I desperately need help.
