cross communicating

I don't know very much about the various messenging programs and I will
demonstrate it with the following question.

While I am on Windows Messenger can I communicate with someone on the Yahoo
Messenger program?

Not yet. They say we'll have this possibility in the second half of 2006. So
we're waiting...
