Crossfader on WMP12 /Windows 7

I've been using WMP9 for about 2 years and the crossfader option has worked
perfectly. I recently got a new laptop (HP) that came with WMP12/W7. I copied
all of my wav/mp3/wma from my old laptop to my new as well as all of my
playlists. When I now use WMP12, I have crossfader set to 10 seconds but most
of the time it appears that it's working for about the last second, maybe
two. What can I do to find out why WMP12 on my system is not longer allowing
my 10 seconds crossfader to work.

thanks!

joe...

I would suggest verifying with somebody else on Windows 7 and if it's a
problem for them too, take it to actual support.

I went to walmart last night and played with a bunch of different computer
brands. They all acted the same way so I'm guessing the problem is with
WMP12. I can't find where I can contact Microsoft to tell them about this
bug....and others that I have found.

Try reposting this on the Windows 7 Media forum:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...omedia/threads .
This forum is being monitored by some Microsoft insiders, and they could
forward this to the WMP team.

I am having this issue as well. Running Windows 7 64 Bit and MP 12. I did
not have this problem in Vista 64 Bit WMP 11 - with the same music and same
playlists.

Sounds like you should refer this to the actual support if they're not
already aware of this issue.
