crypt32 Error message

While working with my application i keep getting and error message that
promts me to send it to microsoft when i close or send the error pop up
message teminates my application on checking my EventView application
section, i noticed and error on my application called crypt32 error with the
following text

Failed auto update retrieval of third-party root list sequence number from:
<http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/authrootseq.txt>

Now i have windows Service park 3 installed and the lates patches what could
be the ploblem?.. please someone help
