Good news gaming fans - Crytek Budapest's Crysis Warhead is to be
available on Steam!

Crytek and Valve today announced an agreement to bring Crysis Warhead
and Crysis to Steam, a leading platform for the delivery and management
of PC games and digital content with over 15 million accounts around the
world.

"The millions of gamers logging into Steam every week to play today's
best PC games are going to love Crysis Warhead," said Avni Yerli,
Managing Director at Crytek. "Crytek Hungary has done a terrific job
creating this new experience while optimizing CryEngine 2, and we're
looking forward to delivering it and the original Crysis as our first
offerings on Steam."

Crysis sucks huh.. lol let me guess. youy play nothing but WO

Crysis might have had a not so great story.. but the gameplay is by fa
one of the best in a good while.. I personally really enjoy the game.
and the new warhead is good also.. been playing it for about 3 days now
It's great game and looks AMAZING.

oh and Andy, nice of you to have NOTHING to contribute to this threa
but bashing him being happy about a game release. if you don't like it.
don't comment on it. he's obviously happy to get the game on steam. n
reason for you to come trash on it.

Crysis still suck'ith... Verily. Gameplay, "Next-Gen" Grey, etc. I need
something more from your run of the mill shooter.

I play all sorts of stuff. Search around the newsgroup, I'm more of what
you call an "old skool" gamer. Prefer form over function. Gimmie a dark
room and a copy of System Shock 2 and I'm as sound as a pound love. WoW,
LotRO, and Warhammer are certainly high on my list right now, but I got
Spore last week, been trudging through MGS4's cinematics from hell, and
I reinstalled Supreme Commander recently just for giggles. I love TF2,
though I suck, and prefer to play with friends. AudioSurf is kindda
quirky. Portal, love the story, can't wait for Portal 2. Oblivion
usually gets 30 minutes per week or so, Peggle (eww)

Lets see, what else is kindda out there... I got to play a couple hours
of Dead Space last month. Thought I died and went to heaven. Mirror's
Edge, Rock Band 2!, Guitar Hero: World Tour, QUAKE LIVE! Q3-4Evah!, and
on top of all that, I work 2 jobs, about 60-70 hours per week, and I
still find time to play all this crap.

As for contributing NOTHING to the "Thread"... If calling the game "bad"
is contributing NOTHING, then what does calling the game "good"
contribute?

You have your $0.02, and I have mine, I say Crysis Sucks, you say Crysis
Rules. Don't take it personally man. I'd rather you not agree with me
than to agree with me. It makes for good conversation.

Grats on getting Crysis on Steam. I find it odd that EAD (That's EA
Distribution) is doing it considering they have their OWN digital
distribution system. Maybe they are testing the waters or something,
which I'm all for. I think Steam is a great platform.

Well andy.. I see your point on saying it's a contribution to the thread
because you were simply giving an opinion.. and I was diong only the
same when I said it was good.. I wasn't taking it personally. and as I
see your point with your last post. I also will once again disagree with
you. the OP was not asking peoples opinion to as if the game was good.
or what they thought of the game. He was simply writing a post for
everyone to for one see that the game is being released. and for two he
was giving what I call a Contributional Thread to the forum by posting
where and when you can get it, he had links to each game, and the
bundles. and plenty of good and useful information. He wasn't saying did
you like this game, yes or no. So when the first and main reply was from
you basically raining on his parade and saying.. MEH

I just took that as a bit mean and not needed... Now do you see "My"
point!

other then that. wow, looks like you sure play a lot of games.. Like I
said before. I must admit that the First ones story wasn't all that
great. and not much of a plot. but the Gameplay was amazing. and made it
one of the better games I've played this year. But then you have people
that are more for First Person Shooters, or even just Shooters like me.
and they love this game. Then you get people that like games like WOW.
only.. and they hate it. or people like you that play a little of
everything. and with them. some like it, some don't. I wasn't trying to
be a dick when I came in and bashed you for saying that. but simply just
thought it was a bit rude and not needed.

but, everyones entitled to there opinion. and I'm fine with you
expressing it.
As to the new Crysis Warhead. Here's a link to my thread I made back a
little while ago when Warhead came out. I finally finished it today. and
I posted some cool screenshots. Feel free to look andy, and everyone
else. If you'd like. but don't come and bash. lol jk. you can if you'd
like.
