Apparently, it is not common sense to turn off antispyware/antivirus software
before downloading Microsoft patches. Look at how many postings there have
been on this issue on this site just in the past few days since the patch
first came out. There are many. Now imagine how many other people are out
there that are having this problem that have not posted here and how many
will have this problem in the future. Also, I have downloaded hundreds of
Microsoft patches over the years, and I believe this is the first time I have
had to turn off antispyware/antivirus software to complete the installation.
PS - I just sent an email to the maker of Spysweeper about this problem.
