Cumulative Security Update for IE (931768): Error code: 80070003

Problem:

- Windows update notification to install this update
- I accept
- Windows update says it was succesful and must restart Windows
- I accept
- Windows is restarted and Windows update notifies again of the same update
and when I check the update history what was successful is now tagged as
failed with the error code 80070003

What I've tried:

- I installed the update directoy from
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../ms07-027.mspx

- installation is successful however when I restart the computer Windows
update again notifies about this update!

Any workaround?

dir doesn’t exist

Please post the KB931768.log that's located in the WINDOWS directory
[folder].
