Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7

I cannot get this to update. My computer is set up to receive automatic
updates and this has been failing since Nov. I tried myself and am getting
an error code of 0x80242006. How do I get this update to take???

The caller passed an update with invalid metadata to the handler

Suggest you manually download the update -

Search for a download (you didn't state the KB article of the update or the
OS so you'll have to look for it)

Error message when you try to install updates from the Windows Update Web
