I'm having exactly the same problem, no way to uninstall, and it has
installed many times successfully according to my history. I have problems
with both the Outlook Express service pack and a Windows patch, but that
could be all the fault of the Outlook Express pack.
Oh, and by the way, why does the "Request Tech Support" link on the help and
support page for Update lead to a dead link? Maybe it's just for me today,
but seems a bit FUBAR if you ask me.
