Cumulative XP Updates Site?

The Question: Is there a web site where I can download but not install all
of the XP (Home Edition) service packs, updates, upgrades, and / or patches?

The Background: Various news sources and web sites have discussed
Microsoft’s impending discontinuance of support for Windows XP (Home Edition).

I’m perfectly content with XP (HE) and at my age (68) am not interested in
transitioning to Vista, despite all the hype and claims.

Why I’m Asking: I would like to have all the service packs, updates,
upgrades, and / or patches so I can burn them to a DVD. Then if I ever have
to re-install anything, everything I'll need will be right there. (My
computer shipped with Windows XP (HE), with SP-1 pre-installed, and I still
have the original DVD which shipped with the then-new computer.)

Thank you.

Jim

Very soon MS will be releasing SP3 (for general public) which contains all service
packs, updates and / or patches upto a certain date. Anything after the release of
service packs, you will need to download manually and save on CD or any other media
you consider appropriate The link to download the service pack is here:

Please note that it is a very big file and so if you are using a dial up connection
then DON'T DO IT. It will take you forever to download.
