Cursor not works properly

Hello,

I visit here first time and hopefully I can get help.

Quite often, not always, these funny things happen in some application
window (for example IE7 or the file list window):

If put the cursor at the middle of a button, it wont be highlighted and
my click wont work, I have to put the cursor at its top to highlight it
and then my click will work.
In the file list window, when I double click a filename the file of a
filename below it opened.

I have found that I can correct this by click an input text box in a
web page.

Any idea?

I realy hope someone got the same problem and tell me why.

I am having the exact same problem. No information on the internet, no way
to adjust the mouse cursor position. A big bug in Vista. Don't like it,.

So I'm not crazy. How old is your computer, and who made it? Did it start
from day one, like mine?

At random times (I dunno if I accidentally press one or two keys) m
cursor refuses to select what I'm trying to click.

For example...if you were to slide your other of these text areas tha
I'm typing in right now,
Notice how it turns into something else as it acknowledges that it i
over something it can click on? It wouldn't do that...

But like...Mark2 said before me,
If I were to double click on a text box...then it somehow goes back t
normal <.

I'm not sure if English is your primary language or not, but I am
TOTALLY sure that you're making absolutely no sense.
