Cursor turns into a black square when i'm using only the internet.

Can anyone help me with this dilemma, quite frequently the cursor tends to
turn into a black square, where I am unable to select web pages, links
etc.....only happens when I'm on the internet, why does it do this and how
can I stop it.

The black square cursor is a common problem judging by a google search.
Here is a solution I have found that works
Reduce the Hardware Acceleration in Troubleshoot in Advanced Setting
in Display Properties
