Custom font size and Vista Start Menu

On my system, if I select a custom font size (something between 96 and 120
dpi), the start menu for Vista does not paint properly. Does anyone else
have this problem?

For me, the buttons for logout/login are not shown. I'm using standard
Vista aero theme.

switch to classic theme, see if the buttons are at the same (bad) location,
if not its your display adaptor driver,
(graphic card driver)

find the latest driver and install it

It's not the video card. I've tried on multiple systems with totally
different video hardware and the same problem occurs. Even occurs on virtual
systems. It's Vista!

I opened a support case with MS on this and apparently this is another Vista
bug.

I filed a technical support incident to Microsoft on this and apparently they
don't care about this as this level of product quality is foreign to them.

Considering all the other major problems we're having with Vista (and not
XP) I can understand why (SMB networking bugs, document corruption in
SharePoint, etc.).

My son bought a new Apple notebook and it sure looks enticing without Windows.
