Customize Address Bar?

Ok, I think I have the name right, but the address bar in Windows Explorer in
Vista holds a cache of your Websites and servers that were visited recently.
For example: http://msn.com and \\fileserver1\share. I want that bar to
ONLY show websites, not servers or local paths.
Does anyone have any pointers on how I can adjust that?

Thanks
Bob

Hi,
The Address Bar should only store URLs, file paths, etc. which are typed or
pasted into the Address Bar.

If you browse to files, folders, servers they shouldn't end up in this
TypedURLs list (a registry key.) However... despite my best efforts, I
occasionally find a file path in the list.

You can clean up the list manually
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=157729 (old article but still
applicable) or try this free program
EditURLs http://www.aandrc.com/editurls/index.htm

Hope this helps,
Don
