how to customize the cmd mode and make it permenant

I like the quick mark and paste and discard duplicate. I can still set them.
however vista does not offer me a chance to remember for future use. is
there another way to customize?


I am using vista Ultimate 64 bit

With Vista you have both "Defaults" and "Properties" on the CMD window
menu. It seems to be somewhat unpredictable - but if you turn on Quick
Edit in both, it will work for all CMD windows.
