Customize individual Folders?

Is there any way to customize individual folders, without having those
settings apply to any other folders?

For example:
I prefer to group some commonly used items into Folders I create on my
desktop, to organize them & make them easier to access.

I created a folder on my desktop that I labeled "Audio," in which I
placed shortcuts to several audio editing programs.
I created another folder on my desktop that I labeled "Video," in which
I placed shortcuts to a few video editing programs.

I want these (and *-_only_-* these) folders to be nothing more than
"boxes" for grouping & accessing the programs they contain:
I don't want or need them to display the navigation pane, status bar,
etc.

But if I change one of my these using Organize>Layout, it affects
-everything-: My Computer, My Documents, etc., change as well.

I used to be able to do this back when I had XP… but I can't find a way
to manage it in Vista.

Help, anyone… please???

Hello Ulutator,

Sorry, but that is not possible anymore in Vista unless there is some
3rd party program that can be install that would allow it.

Thanks, but I already dug through the Tutorials & couldn't find anything
matching my exact situation. If you know of one that does... please
pass it on!

Ulutator

Sorry, but you will not find a solution for this in the tutorials sinc
that is not possible anymore in Vista unless there is some unknown 3r
party program that can be installed that would allow it. :
